Cost?- The cost is $110.or $125.(*single or double spinner gig option) and includes a mechanical kit of pipe, hub or hubs, fittings, base, screws, nuts, and washers. You need to supply the fun "stuff" that catch the wind and give the gig its' character and charm.

"Single Spinner with Copper Teapot"
This(above)whirligig is one of the design options that everyone works from in the workshop (a single hub, 2 tier, with a topper). It's amazing how different all the gigs look in the end when everyone choses to attach different items. Below are two example of whirligigs created in a recent workshop. Pretty amazing if I do say so.
*These are 2 examples of whirligigs that were made by students in the workshop.

~ Paper Houses ~
~ Paper Houses ~
This is a fun project that turns your old books, magazines, maps, charts, or even
greeting cards into whimsical little paper houses that stand aprox. 3 inches tall. They then can be strung together as garland, hung as a mobile, or let's face it, by themselves they look sweet anywhere you place them. The only material you need to bring is your old paper to use. *It is necessary for the paper the be 9 inches wide by 7 inches high to fit our die cutter.
Age level: 12 and up

With a lidded glass jar and old tin you can make a fun and funky light. Participants need to bring a jar with lid (at least 5" tall by 3" wide). All other materials included. *If you want your light to be extra special, find an old lidded tin with graphics to use for the base.

~ Cardboard Frames ~
In 2 hours and with the most basic of tools and materials you can create amazing frames for your special photographs, prints, or artwork. What I love so much about this project is there are no limits to what you can do. Just bring your creativity and imagination. I supply the rest. I'm also here to help if you need creative assistance or ideas. You can bring an image with you and make a frame specifically for it or make a standard size frame opening. Scissors, a glue gun and repurposed cardboard are all supplied for you.
